What is a verification?

Each attempt to verify a user's identity is called a verification. A verification is a request to send a code to a user's destination, which is typically a phone number. The user must then confirm the code to complete the verification process.

This basic process is the foundation of most two-factor authentication systems, as well as identity verification mechanisms.

Using VerifyAPI, the complexity of delivery using different delivery channels is removed, and instead you can focus on the user experience of obtaining a destination number and confirming it.
